President Trump halts the Lava Ridge Wind Project
Within hours of being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order halting the Lava Ridge Wind Project and calling for a comprehensive assessment and review of all Federal wind leasing and permitting practices.
The Blaine County Republican Central Committee passed a resolution in December to condemn this project that would negatively impact our region and way of life. We are grateful that President Trump listened and responded to the citizens of Idaho who are strongly and overwhelmingly opposed to this project.
