Help Support Election Day in Blaine County

We are looking for people who are interested in helping on Primary Election Day, May 19, either as a poll worker or a poll watcher. These are two different roles, and both are important for making sure elections run smoothly and transparently.

Poll Workers (County Positions)

Poll workers are hired by the county to help run the polling locations. These are paid positions and require working the full day. Responsibilities include helping voters check in, assisting with voter registration, issuing ballots, monitoring voting equipment, and helping set up and close the polling place. Poll workers must be available for about a 14-hour shift on Election Day and attend a training beforehand.

Contact Blaine County Elections for more information and to apply to be a poll worker.

Poll Watchers (Party Volunteers)

Poll watchers represent the party and help observe polling locations to ensure the process is being conducted properly. Watchers typically serve for a few hours at a time during the day. Their role is simply to observe and report any issues or concerns to the party. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering as a poll watcher.

Election integrity and smooth elections depend on engaged citizens, and we appreciate anyone willing to step up and help!
